That is reasonable suggestion and is a possibility which I have considered
several times. However, in this case the application is being evaluated for
its suitability to replace and existing one. Bypassing this particular problem
with Postfix only exposes the next arising from the application's unwillingness
to accept our certificates.
It is established to my satisfaction that this is not a Postfix issue.
Therefore,this has to be a configuration issue within the application itself.
If I do not solve it now then at some point it is going to cause another
problem, likely when we do not have the luxury of time to figure it out.
