If the message was accepted with smtputf8_enable=yes, then it would also have been accepted with smtputf8_enable=no or with Postfix 2.x. The smtputf8_enable setting changes logging output. With smtputf8_enable=no or with Postfix 2.x, all non-ASCII is logged as "?". With smtputf8_enable=yes, UTF8 text is logged unchanged, but other text is still logged as "?". Wietse
