Thanks for the clarification. I'm sure there's still room for
improvement, maybe a note that this is dovecot 1 syntax, or a "for
further information" link to the dovecot docs|wiki.

Indeed.  But this isn't the first person tripped up by the
unexpected warnings logged by dovecot 2.x.
