Picking up where Ralf stopped short...

It is generally accepted that communication on technical email lists
should be in plaint text only, wrapped at 80 characters or less, and
without attachments.  I don't know if the postfix-users welcome message
states this or not, or if it is the position of the list owner.  It is,
however, the accepted norm for tech mailing lists.

I'm sure it was not /dev/rob0's intention to offend you.  He was merely
attempting to clue you in to expected message formatting etiquette.
Some people are more bothered by html/rtf emails than others.  For
instance, if you were my brother, I'd bury you in the back yard for
using anything but plain text.  But, that's just me. ;)
