Here is a snippet of my master config:
...
-o content_filter=amavisfeed:[::1]:10024
this says nothing.
which service is this connected to?
and yet Postfix logs:
Aug 04 09:54:10 postfix/error[920165]: 6D8F8C0145E8:
to=<[email protected]>, relay=none, delay=2061, delays=2061/0.02/0/0,
dsn=4.4.1, status=deferred (delivery temporarily suspended: connect
to 127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1]:10024: Connection refused)
looks like the line above is not used, as this connects to ipv4 localhost.
postfix is 3.8.5
Is my ipv6 notation wrong - first thing came to my mind - |& am I
missing something else?

amavis usually listend on both versions of localhost:
/usr/sbin 17080 amavis 7u IPv4 571247320 0t0 TCP localhost:10024
(LISTEN)
/usr/sbin 17080 amavis 8u IPv6 571247322 0t0 TCP [::1]:10024 (LISTEN)
...which also means your amavis is not running or not listening on proper
port.
your postfix configuration does not do what you want though.
