That setting, as written, will do something in main.cf, but is not valid
syntax for master.cf. It can be "fixed" to work for some parts of
master.cf or put in main.cf or not used at all. You have not given
sufficient information to determine which and the fact that setting is
syntactically valid for main.cf does not mean that it will do something
that you want in main.cf. At the end of the day you should understand
what all postfix settings do and the difference between main.cf and
master.cf and how they work, otherwise you are just rolling the dice on
what you will get and it likely won't be a system that works the way you
need or want.
