Ah, the problem appears to be that the upgrade process "helped" me by
installing sendmail. Ack.
Okay, so two questions:
1. How do I fix the "damaged message" problem?
2. What is the proper way to start postfix on bootup instead of
sendmail? I could hack this, but I'd rather do it properly.

It contains details on how to disable sendmail on boot.
