The LMS is running in a QNAP app called QLogitechMediaServer. Earlier it ran in a container. The QNAP LMS app is documented in this forum.
When I started playing music this morning it didn't play, just jumped from song to song, but no sound. Like it behaved during the early installation attempts. Yesterday I could play music while the executable and config file where in the same folder as the sox and others. I removed them, restarted the server and I can play again. I also discovered that the usr/share/InguzEQ folder has disappeared. Probably because I close the NAS over night and start it again in the morning.
