Why not set it to an acceptable level and then use the Denon remote/app
to bump up the volume to a larger volume if you need to? Then when the
system turns on again it will go back to your "safe" QS volume. In this
way the plugin will just give you X%, based on the SB volume, of what
your Denon is capable of. And when you turn off the LMS player it will
in turn reset the QS setting when you turn it back on again.

Now don't take this to the bank and I really want people to try 4.1 vs
4.0 a bit to really give us an evaluation. But one thing that could
possibly be done is to put a menu item in the plugin that boosts up (or
down) the current Denon volume, but only for that session. This would
work the same way as you picking up the Denon remote and making that
change for that Zone. And when the plugin turns on again it would call
the QS value that would set the volume to the level you default to.

Again not promising anything but something to ponder. It would probably
be in version 4.2. In this version for example I let you increase or
decrease each channel +/- 12 db. This would be the same but for the
volume itself.
