Thanks for the reply David: Sam Y and I will discuss all of these use cases where fixe volume on the player is not desired or available. One thing to think about: There are two settings in the Denon we are talking about here. One is the maximum volume that you will let any device set the Denon's output too, and then there is the volume that you assign to a Quick Select that you dedicate to a player like LMS. Of course the QS setting must be <= the max value for the Denon. But yes, if another user chose a different input they could essentially raise the volume to whatever maximum value you set in the Denon.
