I have used the default Sonos and pcm is the codec supported to the best of my knowledge. As mentioned previously I can play the flac files using flac format and convert flac to flac with downsample but not the flac to pcm with downsample. The file types are also set properly and do reflect the convert.conf file. I believe I may just manually convert the files to desired format and leave it at that. I do notice an additional plugin C-3PO which claims to do a better job at ensuring transcoding and downsampling of PCM occurs as expected. However this needs the -W switch on squeezelite or squeezelite-R2 I would need to see what is required to make that happen. Kinda new to LMS so the structure and inner workings are still a bit of a mystery. On the positive side, this is a great set of tools, very flexible.
