I'm using Kubuntu. Actually, there's is a root account. The password is just not set, so you can't log-in as root. You just have to rung "sudo passwd root" once and you can now login as root. I must admit though, I'd rather use sudo most of the time than login as root. I wish I did not create a password for the root account. And if you need to do a lot of stuff as root, you can always use "sudo -H -s". > I don't like the colors (I can change those). Kubuntu is not brown.
