Better ask companies! :)

AJAX is not proven technology and php is web based, if
I am not mistaken.
My company uses cpp + java heavily. I dont know how
php will help my company's case.

As for asp.net... there's still lots of fud with
respect to gpl and linux,
eg according to *me* is i develope a software based on
gpled libraries, then even my work becomes gpled.

I think kernel and gui individually should be gpled.
but if I want to develope something on top of this
then the kernel or gui should be given to me in lgpled
way.

guys: tell me if I am wrong.
suppose I develope an application on top of say
ubuntu, is it binding on me to make my source code or
binaries open? Cos my application would be statically
and dynamically binding to the (gpled) kernel + the
(gpled) gui.
