There are many IDEs, webservers, databases and
antiviruses which are free/open source for windows.
So i will not add that cost.

My 98se naver had a crash/virus in last 5 years. So
dont know from where did u get the idea of regular and
frequent virus/crashes.
A properly administored Win2K is quite stable and
immune to viruses.

I dont know what windows problems you are talking of.
I have a free and good quality AV and FW running. So I
dont have such problems.
So other people too can keep their system clean.
Good knowledgable administrator can keep any OS clean.

No one is forcing me to upgrade from open office 1.1.3
to any other software or version of OO. SO I also dont
understand that renewal cost.

As I have said earlier, I dont know waht crashes you
are talking of.

Can you tell me the meaning of the qouted sentence,
since you are sort of abusing me?
"Only poor people have problem in sharing."

See. You are still not understanding that suppose I
own a company, I will decide what license to use and
whether to provide service.
I had a doubt for gpl, which I think will get cleared
after reading the documents.
