The Logic Seminar meets on Thursdays from 4 to 5.30pm in the graduate common room at the Faculty of Philosophy. For the first few weeks of this term we shall be discussing quantification and related issues. At the first meeting this afternoon (for which no advance reading is required) I shall explain Frege's and Russell's accounts of the quantifiers. These meetings are open to third year undergraduates doing either of the two logic papers, as well as to graduate students and post-docs.
