That actually could be amazing because sometimes I'm forced to use other syntaxes (especially markups nowadays) and I'd probably be much happier editing Markdown in Pharo than in the GH web UI! This actually just reminded me of Lukas' Helvetia and Language Boxes. Offray, I have no idea if it's relevant or useful (the project was from 2009), but you may want to have a look.
