I think you've grossly misunderstood both mine and Marks posts. Everyone needs an interest, my interest (not just at work!) is enterprise/business usage of Linux, so in actual fact this is *my* 'play time'. Both areas intersect each other, and to have a diverse membership with all interests served then there should be focus on both. Note: the business market provides the vast majority of the support for Linux and open source software as a whole - ubuntu is paid for by it's commercial activities (and Mr Shuttleworth's bank balance). Mark, I'm positive, is more than aware of the commercial organisations offering support, and I don't think for one moment he was suggesting his only recourse for support is this (or other) mailing lists. But the reality is that a lot of the bleeding edge problems, bug fixing and communication in the Community is done via these means. They are a hugely valuable resource. -- Best regards, Andy _______________________________________________ Peterboro mailing list Peterboro@mailman.lug.org.uk https://mailman.lug.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/peterboro
