The last SF Photo Meet I attended had a mixed presentation of film and digital projection. Top of the line Leitz Pradovit slide projector, a midrange Epson digital projector. There was absolutely no comparison: anything projected with the Epson blew away the image quality of the slides completely. As a matter of fact, the quality was so much better that they decided that in the future, all images submitted for the Meets would have to be submitted as digital images.
