I think you're missing one rather important point.  With the adapter,
any image you capture is already in your gallery on your phone, just
like any other image. So you can show it to your friends/email it to
grandma/upload it to your facebook page without having to learn yet
another set of buttons to push, or playing with those fiddly little
memory cards.
