"and a new lens mount" (according to Samsung words in that interview).
That's not surprising as the register distance will be shorter than that of
K bayonet.

Subject: Re: What do you all think of the micro 4/3 system?
The mico 4/3 system seems to have some potential, particularly in
developing smaller cameras. At the very least it's adding more choice
for the camera buyer.
The Panasonic G1 is the first camera to use this new system. Apparently
will be released at the end of this month in Japan. Details here:

Samsung has announced that they are developing an interchangeable lens
camera based on the APS-sized sensor, presumably with a K mount. Whether
this will flow on to Pentax models remains to be seen.

I just found out about this new micro 4/3 DSLR system.
It uses same 4/3 sensor but different lens mount
And no mirror/prism and instead has a big rear
LCD plus a high res. EVF and live view all the time. Its small! But
what
Intrigues me is they could do APS/FF cameras the
Same way with a PK mount. Now that might be good,
It might not, Not really sure, but it's a possibility.
