I hope you took no offend for my words ;-) I was just trying to solve
mistery of my manual focusing with D70 ;-) But I was using mainly AF cameras
in my career, so the best viewfinder for me was in MZ-S :-) OK, I had OM-2,
but for me it had quite dark VF compared to MZ-S (althought again much
bigger).

Yup, it is much better for MF, but as I tried them both head to head D70 had
much brighter VF making it more usable for low light framing :-) But I still
can insist that I can do MF with D70, althought it is not as easy as with
*istD.
