Thanks for sharing your experiences! Keep in mind - the photographer  
takes the picture - not the camera. In this sense it doesn't matter if  
you use Pentax or Canon. If you have found the tool that fits your  
needs, then be lucky. I prefer Pentax as it fits my needs, but I would  
make the same step that you did, if that wouldn't be the case.

Very right! Regarding the printer: I have seen the best results coming  
from Epson's Stylus Photo (especially 2000/2100). But you should  
consider a print service, too. Try www.filmundmail.de - they have an  
Agfa printer with 400ppi. They are fast and the prices are OK. Indeed  
they are much cheaper (and better) than an inkjet print made at home.
