Not that I will jump ship, but we all know there won't be any Pentax USM/IS/AF-TC anytime soon. Even if the upcoming *ist D will be an impressive product or even a big hit, as a system, Pentax is still way behind Canon EOS. So for those who need these technology, it makes sense to switch asap.

I think if I were Boz I would have waited for the Pentax "ist D" to have
come out to see what it supported.  Canon's D10 isn't going to disappear
soon.  Nor will the USM or IS lenses that Canon makes.  If the D wasn't to
his liking then he could sell all his Pentax stuff in favor of the Canon
equipment.
