Hello, at this point I must say that I am in the wait-and-see-cycle SINCE 1989 OR SO. Some years after I had bought my LX, Nikon came with the F4, Canon went EF. Pentax finally came with the SF-Xn. Couldn't decide for it, stayed happily with my LX & K2. Years later the Z1 came, then the Z1-p. Couldn't decide for it., stayed happily with my LX & K2... But three years ago, my K2 became unreliable and I wanted something new. Couldn't decide between MZ-5n or Z1-p. Finally I bought an MZ-3. Three month later, the MZ-S came. AARRGGL!!! If I already had been a member of this list at that time, had I been told to wait? ;-) What I'm trying to say is: Pentax is very very slow, and they always had this P-30-to-P30N, SF-X/SF-Xn, Z-1/Z-1p, MZ-5/5n policy. You know what I mean? Why can't they make it right from the start? Although I like (most) of their products (esp. lenses...) I always thought, it might be better to wait. Once I ignored my instincts, and they taught me to better have not done so... My LX is almost 20 years old now, and digital is very tempting - but perhaps I should buy an MZ-S for the cupbord, just in case... I also bought an SMC-A 50mm on ebay, just in case. Fore sale now: My SMC-M 50/1.4 ... Digital is very, very, very temping....but I perhaps I'll let another ten years pass, before I decide. *sigh* After all, I'm happy that I don't need to make money with my equipment. Thomas
