The K-adapted screwmounts, as well as the manual aperture lenses, will work properly because Pentax can't stop them from working. Their apertures are at the working position by default and don't need a camera provided linkage to get them there. OTOH Pentax has deliberately disabled the aperture stopdown lever of *ist/*istD when a lens not set to "A", or not an FAJ, is mounted.
