I've gotten it to work on a forth jen iPod Nano without any problems at all.
So I am correct about that.
You really don't know these things unless you try them yourself.
Anyone can and will tell you something does or doesn't work.
But like I said above, you don't really know these things unless you try
them yourself.
If I can get Rockbox to work on a forth jen IPod Nano, you mite be able to
get it to work too.
So what's the problem with it?
It is the ITunes that's trouble to get to work.
I found all this to be true in my own personal experience.

Rockbox only supports some very early models of iPods.
I may not be as versed in the iPod line as I am in the Sansa line when
dealing with Rockbox, but your statement was incorrect and misleading
to the person asking the question.
Also, someone else claimed that Rockbox would get rid of the original
Apple firmware and as far as I know, it doesn't replace the firmware,
it's a dual-boot system and doesn't get rid of the Apple firmware at
all.
I hope that helps clear things up a little.
