In my opinion, version 9.1 is the last most fully accessible version. Earlier on Wednesday, I posted to this list a link to download that version from my web site. Let me know if you can't find that link in your back emails, and I'll post it again if necessary.

Right now, I should go to sleep!

Robert,

I was just kidding! I remember someone was talking about where they could get earlier versions. I recently did a search for the product and came back with a lot of information, which was , frankly, over my head, as is a lot of the advanced information, that is spoken about, on this list. I don't want anyone to go out of their way, which I am sure they won't, but, is there a place, such as Old Version, where one could get earlier versions? Also, has anyone ever written any tutorial information on this thing? I just wanted to create data discs, so that I could free up some space, on 2 external hard drives, that I have mounted, in my tower. Got a lot of audio material and I am running out of available space!

Thanks,

-Mac-

It would help you to roll back a version or two and then do your intuiting. ----- Original Message ----- From: Mac Norins

That depends on what you mean by intuitive. The help section does not work in the program, so, when I do find time, I will just intuit it by the seat of my pants! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dana S. Leslie" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Can you be any more specific on what you need tips about? Personally, aside from the one issue of the track list in the ripper component, I have always
found Easy CDDA Extractor to be very accessible, and quite
easy and intuitive to use.

BTW, have you had trouble, with reading the help file, on this software,
in the past? One of my problems, as a novice user, has been that I could
not get the help file to read, but, it may be my JAWS skills, not that
there is not any help available! Any tips on using version 11, the one
just before the 12 upgrade, would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

-Mac-

10.5 is the earliest version for which I still have an installation file;
although I do have version 9 installed on my machine, I can't seem to find
the installation file:

it would be your best bet to go to an earlier version. If you happen to
still have a copy of v9 could you send it to me.

I just downloaded and installed it.

As many of you may know already, in the ripper component, the track names are neither read nor displayed in braille, as one scrolls the track list,
much less the check boxes for selecting individual tracks.

Is there a fix for this; or are we still better off downgrading to
earlier
versions?

Thanks.
