As much as I oppose the idea of these announcements on the PC Audio list,I have to take issue with what you say. If the list mandate allows for this kind of announcement, and you choose to remain on the list, such announcements are not spam. Sorry, Bruce, It is just like beauty--in the eyes of the beholder. What we do not need is more list traffic. I have worn out my delete key because of thanks messages, I agree messages, etc., on various lists, including this list at times. It is not a significant problem on this list, but the sum of the parts is equal to the whole.
