As long as there won't be any loss of quality and it sounds like you know what you're talking abou; then I'll try that. I just thought if I could split and all that why not record regular tapes a faster speed to save time (I have a lot of tapes). This project scares me. Is there anything I should do to prepare these old artifacts for playing? Any other suggestions before this massive undertaking? Thanks for your help bb
