High Garry,
I have had both a SHARP stereo and a SHARP TV set.
I told you all what happened to my SHARP stereo system in an earlyer post.
My TV quit showing a picture after 6 months time went by.
I ran it in to the shop once only to be told, "a rezester connecting the
picture tube is working to hard.
We could replace it, but you will have the same problem in another 6 months
time."
I taust it out and went out and bought an RCA set.
This was a little over 16 years ago, my RCA TV still works like brand new!
However, I have 2 SONY stereo systems.
One is a portable that I bought 15 years ago, it still works like brand new!
The other one is a 4 speaker shelf system that I bought over 3 years ago, it
still works like brand new too!
I paid $350 for the portable, I don't remember the mottal number, but it is
a nice one.
The shelf system, I paid $500 for it, it is the MXCGH-8800.
It too is a nice one.
You can run surround sound to the rear speakers, or you can run stereo sound
to all 4 speakers at one time.
It to I think is a very nice little stereo system.
  John Price.
