I for one have not had good luck with sharp products. I had a sharp 1165 cassette deck which was in the shop more than it was on my shelf. my wife and I have a sharp microwave which spews steam out of the bottom when it is operating. if you feel you want to take a chance with sharp, go for it, but frankly I wouldn't.
