Well! This has indeed been an interesting thread.  Perhaps it would be a 
good idea if someone, who is well versed in sound editing, could give a 
side-bi-side comparison, emphasizing the strengths similarities, and 
weaknesses of both editors. This is especially important for those who have 
not yet formed a bias to one or the other programs. In otherwards, let's get 
the facts. I would also recommend that the work be accomplished without the 
use of script or set files as this would most certainly affect the outcome. 
SF has had a lot of work done on Scripts over the years: both free and 
comercial scripts. Now it may be, that one or the other programs is better 
suited for scripting or creating set files. This too is a very important 
item for consideration and certainly may be a factor in determining which 
editor one should purchase. It is, however, important to distinguish between 
the off-the-shelf capabilities of the editor it self as apposed to the 
addition of Script or Set files.
