Jonathan: Don't you find it easier to engage scrubbing when editing, especialy, on tight deadlines? I find that without scrubbing it is far more difficult to guage the distance I move or how much of the material I want to select. Just as sighted folks look at the waveform, I feel scrubbing gives us an equal ability to move through sound quickly and smoothly.
Can you engage scrubbing without the scripts? Thanks. Should I upgrade to version 8? At work we have to use version 6 in the newsroom and--yes--version 4.5 in our news studio. Don't ask me why we haven't upgraded!
