hello r q j, thanks for that, i thought that was probably the answer. i was checking for a friends daughter who has an external cd writer which is rather slow and doesn't have buffer protection therefor when she tries to use nero to create an audio cd from mp3 files it quits giving a buffer error part way through. so it's probably a case of her having to get a better and faster cd writer.
pete. Hi Pete, Can't do it. The CDA extension is just a pointer on the disk to the file. .CDA files are not playable by audio applications, as you would .wav, or.mp3. So why would you want to convert files before you burn them anywaywhen it is part of the audio creation process?
