hello doc, it was that a friends daughter was having trouble converting mp3 to cda and writing the cd at the same time due to buffer under run errors. she has an old slow external cd writer and probably not a very powerful laptop and we were looking for a method of separating the conversion and burning processes.
pete. I must have missed the original thread.
