Under the "Advanced configuration options (for developers)" menu, 
"Toolchain options", the final entry for "Target optimization", you can 
put "-mips1 -march=r3000 -mtune=r3000"

I couldn't see how immediately, but perhaps objdump (or rather 
mispel-linux-objdump) can do it.
