I't is a bit more functional now. The LED on the JTAG interface is lit during the operation and there is also some more activity on the USB_LINK LED on the prototype board. I guess this means the CPU has been reset and FreeRTOS is up and running. Alas OpenOCD is not satisfied with the state of the art. Lowering the speed to 100 or 10 kHz gives the same result.
