That was the problem I had, I will give another try. With results like 
this I would say that I have no more objection.
Flashing devices have always been so bad with the ftdi driver that I 
chose to ignore it.

Does it work good on a 64 bits OS? I have installed Ubuntu 9.04 this 
week as it seems to have made some important performance progress.
Actually it is Ubuntu Studio, a derivative of the official Ubuntu. 
Fedora 11 seems very slow compared to this.
I haven't had time to try it on my 64 bits Linux yet. I have been too 
busy at work (unpaid overtime)
