Bug ID: 495038 Summary: Ability to filter annotations in sidebar Classification: Applications Product: okular Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: All Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: okular-devel@kde.org Reporter: witchhunter...@protonmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Build in "Annotation toolbar" is a great tool for managing small files. Now, there is a "Quick annotation toolbar" that is more versatile and suitable for managing larger files. The latter one I use the most for some legal documents in which I find the need to mark things that have various importance. For that I have created several annotation tools for each purpose. The problem is, it is difficult to find all e.g. "important" marks within a large document. Writing text in every annotation is a tedious(impossible) task if a document has hundreds of annotations. It would be very helpful if annotation sidebar had filter ability, so one can filter annotations (by name if available, or type if not) that are manually defined in "Quick annotation toolbar". ADDITIONAL INFORMATION It is worth noting that annotations listed on sidebar do not have color indication. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=448175 Also, Thumbnails sidebar already has filter implementation. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
