Twenty-four species were  reported this week.


The best birds were:

BLACK VULTURE: Hudson 2/3 (2), 2/4 (2), 2/7 (3); Glenmont 2/3 (6), 2/8 (4).

MERLIN: Coxsackie Grasslands 2/4; Cohoes Flats 2/7.

BALTIMORE ORIOLE: Niskayuna 2/8.

Other notable reports:
Snow Goose: Fort Miller 2/6.

American Widgeon: Coxsackie Grasslands 2/4.

Turkey Vulture: Coxsackie 2/1; Guilderland 2/4 (6); Hudson 2/4 (14), 2/7 
(20).

Bald Eagle: Stockport 2/4 (15); East Greenbush 2/3; Schodack Landing 2/6 
(6); Cohoes Flats 2/7 (2).

Northern Harrier: Coxsackie Grasslands 2/4 (7); Amsterdam 2/7 (2).

Sharp-shinned Hawk: Schodack 2/4.

Cooper's Hawk: Castleton 2/3)

Peregrine Falcon: Schodack Landing 2/6.

Cedar Waxwing: Poestenkill 2/5 (11).
Horned Lark: Saratoga Airport, Milton 2/8 (2).

Common Grackle: Poestenkill2/5 (~700); Glenmont 2/3 (5)

Pine Siskin: Lake Desolation 2/5 (many).
