Seventy-seven species were reported this week.  The most-reported 
species include Killdeer (7 reports), Common Merganser (7), Hooded 
Merganser (6), Eastern Bluebird (6), Bald Eagle (5), Pileated Woodpecker 
(5) and Song Sparrow (5).


The best birds were:

RING-NECKED PHEASANT: Coxsackie Grasslands 3/12.

GREAT CORMORANT: Germantown 3/10, 3/12.

RED-SHOULDERED HAWK: Saratoga 3/12.

MERLIN: Schenectady 3/9, 3/12.

BARRED OWL: Powell Preserve 3/8.

RUSTY BLACKBIRD: Black Creek Marsh 3/11 (43).

RED CROSSBILL: Dresden 3/9.

A GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE reported at Fort Miller on 3/3 by Ron 
Renoni was accidentally omitted from last week's summary.
