@Ian That may explain why PHP is continuing to be the dominant languages of
choice - despite its glaringly obvious failings. If I could only find a
Ruby based employer to help me shake off PHP for good, I'd be happy.

@everyone Are Ruby mid-level salaries REALLY that high? If so, what is a
junior salary average and is anyone on the look-out for a Ruby convert (8+
years as a PHP, ~6 months Ruby/RoR)?
