It can be overridden, but (in the case where the list software replaces
it) only if you remember to do so.

A concept of "reply to list" is much more rare in mail clients, I think.
Mutt, someone mentioned Thunderbird, probably a few others. But the 800
lb gorillas (Gmail, Microsoft Office365, etc.), no.
