Just as an aside, their header mangling is because they're using
DMARC/DKIM validate posts; it is illegal under that scheme to have
the From: contain the original author because the list message isn't
originating from the author - it is resent.

Certainly. I should really do a writeup on my mailfiler program sometime anyway, hook it into the wiki.

Our major deliverable for the year is now over, so I should have some time to do this kind of thing.
