Is it just one message that's broken? Or is it a general problem affecting every message? You could save the message to an external file and inspect hat using something like hexcump or od. In Mutt, type: :exec decode-copy The : takes you to the command line, from where you can enter commands, using tab completion. So save the message to a file and then do: od -c msg.txt Does that show any unusual characters? Horiziontal tabs maybe? Just guessing :-) -- Michael Ludwig
