And what about an eth prefix? I know some will argue that it's not a very
scientific term, but the notion we introduced really looks like an effective
threshold of hearing.

Change the name if you want (although I'd prefer --eth-xxx). As it's
considered to be experimental switches, it's not part of the doc, and so
(theorically) end users should not be used to it.

Btw, I hope this patch is for 3.91 only and not 3.90, as I'd really like to
see a 3.90 release soon (ie a maximum delay of a few weeks, not a few
