I just wanted to let everyone know I was able to get a chargeback, took some
threats of law sutis but I got my chargeback

A refund in the amount of $399.00 has been posted to the credit card used to
place your order. It may take 2-3 days until this refund is posted by your
bank. Due to billing cycles, the refund may appear on a later statement than
your original order.

Look for DRI*ShopNovell as the merchant on your credit card statement.

Good luck everyone, be sure to let them know its FRAUD and it’s a FRADULENT
Web site and is not as adversised.

i.e., Roadmap is a lie, and 1 year of support is a lie, ordering was removed
after 3 weeks and there is no way to contact current vendor.

I have started the chargeback process.

There needs to be some kind of letter written from a lawyer at least on our
behalf.

If anyone has a family attorney I wonder if they have any info on what we
can do.

I am not sure how many people purchased but it is apparent there was
fraudulent action by pushing out 1.0 and getting everyone to buy fully well
knowing it would not be supported in 2 weeks.

Guys,

It's clear that Attachmate doesn't care about Mono tools, or they would have
kept at least some engineers to continue supporting the products.

For now, I'm done with Attachmate Mono tools, I'm unsubscribing this list
but I'll continue posted in the LinkedIn list.

I'm also following Miguel's announcements for the new toolset, but this time
I'll wait until it's mature to purchase the tools, i.e., I'll not buy the
pre-release or early access versions like I did for Mono for Android with
the tool even not being finished properly (Debugging, etc).

I hope to meet you guys on other lists.

Bye,

Marcio Alexandroni

I completely agree with Narcis and Dewitt. We have invested a tremendous
amount in the mobile Mono products. As customers, I think we deserve to
know what is going on. My guess is that Attachmate doesn't know what is
happening either. Even if they did have an idea that they were going to
continue on, I doubt that they will have the ability to continue given that
they have not already come forward with a plan, and we're 3.5 weeks into
this. Personally, I'm planning to continue on with Monotouch as it exists
and then switch to the Xamaran product when it ships.
