I have not tried another TV application, but I will
try, because I use sometimes xdtv or xawdecode and I
can watch with it the signal from dc10+. Is there
another TV application I could use? I have used
"Linux Video Studio" and happens the same.

Linux Video Studio, is no real TV application, because it relys on other
things.
Have you tried disabling some options in xawtv ? (-nodga -noxv ...)
That can sometimes help with the grafic card.
When this happens does is help if you decrase the viewing window ?
There are some I remember kwintv, (TV application wirtten in KDE). Just
check what you distribution offers.
Which grafik card and chipset do you have ?
If you have another spare card around testing that might be usefull.
