done, compiled and installed the binaries.

OK, here is the exact process. From dv type 2 avi, Kino export, with my
setting, as

yuvdenoise -S 100 -r 16 -b 16,6,688,468|mpeg2enc -v 0 -a 2 -M 3 -q 10 -f 8 -I 1 -n n
-o file.mpv

for video, and just basic

mp2enc -v 0 -o file.mp2

for audio.

mplex command is

mplex -f 8 -o file.mpg file.mp2 file.mpv

The result is that "tcprobe -i" detects my file.mpv as NTSC video at
720x480, 29.971 (4) fps, however, after mplexed to file.mpg, "tcprobe
-i" still gives a read as NTSC 720x480 at 23.976 (1). This still happens
with mjpeg 1.6.1 release.

I tried with a sample set of mp1 video and wav audio from DVD authoring
program on windows, in a similar mplex setting. In this case "tcprobe
-i" reports the original mp1 video as 29.97 fps, and also 29.97 fps
after mplexed.

BTW, "tcmplex -m d" gives a similar result to mplex.

I burned the resulting clips from mjpeg 1.6.1 and tried it on my pioneer
dv355 player. It still play at a lot faster speed, feels like playing 24
fps at 30 fps. Note that xine plays the generated VIDEO_TS at correct
speed, but could not play the mplexed file correctly, it just crashes.
mplayer, and windvd play the mplexed file correctly, windvd also plays
the burned DVD properly as well.

Would it be any good if I posted these clips on my website, so that the
developper can check them out?
