Please upgrade to mjpegtools 1.6.1 The 1.6.0 has some DVD creation
problems. 
The 1.6.1 is also aviable als .deb package.

BTW: VHS has a lower resolution than VCD has.

Ups. Not that good. Maybe something gets mislabeld in the 1.6.0
mjpegtools.
